My journey began as a part-time Party Assistant and Leisure Assistant at the Hertswood Centre back in 1998, to support me whilst I was still at school. In my latest role, I work closely with the centres and suppliers to offer food and beverages, taking our catering outlets to new levels.

I started working at Bletchley Leisure Centre in September 2018 and as a cleaner. I felt very welcomed from the start and genuinely love the team here. I was promoted to Cleaning Supervisor about 6 months ago and love my job more than ever. I feel valued knowing that my role is considered one of the most important in the centre.

I know I can still improve and do more in the company by just working hard and giving it my all. I even got my daughter to work here as a cleaner! Why? Because I know that hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. I knew she would love the team here as much as I do. They’ve made her feel so welcome which has resulted in her personality and confidence increasing, she has really come out of her shell in such a short space of time.

I know I’ve said this before but I just want to share that I love where I work, I love my colleagues and the fun we can have as a team is the best. I love all the events we run and can all get involved and do. We all get along (most of the time) and can work through any problems we do have.
